This policy explains what personal data we process when you shop with us, why, and what rights you have.

What we collect and why

When you order, we receive your name, email, phone number, delivery address and what you bought. We use this to deliver your order, send the order confirmation and tracking, and answer questions. The legal basis is that it is necessary to fulfill the purchase agreement.

We must also keep order and payment records as accounting documentation. The legal basis is our legal obligation under the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act.

We do not send newsletters or marketing emails unless you have asked for them.

Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We only share what is needed with:

• Stripe, which processes your payment. If you pay with Klarna, Klarna also processes your data.
• Cloudflare, which runs the online store and sends our emails.
• Partners who pack and ship your order, and the carriers who deliver it. They receive your name, address and phone number.

Some of these are located or process data outside the EEA. The transfer takes place because it is necessary to deliver your order, or under the EU standard contractual clauses or another valid basis.

How long we keep data

Order records are kept for five years after the end of the financial year, as required by the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act. Emails with questions are deleted when the matter is closed and no longer needed.

Cookies

The online store does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Your cart is stored in your browser, on your device. If you sign in to My account, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in for 30 days or until you sign out. It is only used for signing in. Stripe's payment page uses cookies needed for the payment and to prevent fraud.

Cart reminder

If you tick the reminder box in your cart, we store your email together with the cart and the time you ticked the box. If you do not complete your order, we send one email about the cart, no sooner than 3 hours and no later than 3 days after. The legal basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe with the link in the email or by writing to hello@mysimplewins.com.

Visitor statistics

We count visits to see which pages and channels work, for example whether you came from Instagram or Google. This happens on our server, without cookies. We do not store your IP address. To count a visit once, we create a code from your IP address and browser together with a secret key and today's date. The code changes every day and cannot be traced back to you. The statistics are deleted after 13 months. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the store is used.

Your rights

You can ask for access to the data we hold about you, and ask us to correct, delete or restrict it. You can also object to the processing and ask to receive your data. Write to hello@mysimplewins.com. We reply within one month.

If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or the data protection authority where you live.
